No Way Trust - Visit to Eston 19/11/2024

Tue 05 Nov 2024

The No Way Trust is a nationally registered charity raising awareness through visits to schools on the causes, consequences, penalties and impact of crime.

They will be visiting Outwood Alternative Provision Eston on Tuesday 19th November 2024 and all students will be invited to participate in the workshops being delivered.

Students will spend one lesson in the workshops and will have the opportunity to experience the following:

Choices - Prisoner insight presentation  - Presenters share real-life stories about the impact prison life and crime has had on them, their family, victims and future life aspirations.

Mobile cell van presentation and exhibit - Students will spend time inside the life-sized replica and fully furnished prison cell which realistically presents prisoner living conditions and cell contents.

The No Way Trust provides real-life learning experiences, to help reduce risky behaviour and prevent young people from becoming involved in crime. The aim is to support young people to think carefully about the decisions they make throughout their lives, to stay safe, positively manage the temptations of modern society and increasing risks posed through social media, develop into law-abiding citizens, and achieve their full potential. Collectively helping young people and their communities to reduce crime, reoffending and anti-social behaviour and contribute towards creating safer communities for all.

This vision is inline with our commitment to providing an extensive personal development curriculum supporting students for life beyond school ensuring they are safe, respectful and responsible at all times. We very much appreciate your continued support. Should you have any concerns, please contact us.

Yours sincerely,

Ms. R Conway
